The Residential Week 2024

Applications for our Residential Week taking place Monday 27th May -
Friday 31st May 2024 are now open.
(Please note, applications for February 2024 are now closed) 

The Residential Week is specifically for young people aged 14-16 from diverse ethnic communities, underprivileged backgrounds and urban equestrian centres.

AM I ELIGIBLE?

Please make sure that you meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 14-16 with an interest in horses, riding and British horse racing

  • Good attitude and willingness to learn and work hard!

  • Love of animals

  • Weigh under 65 kg or 10 stone 2*

  • You can apply even if you don't have any or much riding experience but please do not apply if you loan or have your own pony.

  • We particularly welcome applications from individuals from diverse ethnic communities.

* this is for horse welfare reasons when riding
